God has revealed Himself to us through his Son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, the holy Scriptures, and through all of creation itself.
Core Beliefs
Nova Church is founded upon the belief that the Bible is the Divinely inspired, infallible Word of God (2 Timothy 3:15-17). What we believe and teach is based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible.
God
We believe there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the Creator of heaven, earth, and all living things. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), through His Son in redemption, and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit). Jesus is both God and man. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16)
Salvation
We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), but Jesus came to the world to seek and to save us all (Luke 19:10; John 3:16). He paid the ultimate price for the salvation of humanity (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 3:18; John 12:32; 1 John 2:2; Romans 5:8), but it is up to each individual to respond to the opportunity Jesus gave us to receive salvation.
Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23-25; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9) The plan of salvation is laid out clearly in scripture, but in no place more directly than in Acts 2:38. Through repentance, baptism, and the infilling with the Holy Spirit, we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. (Romans 6:3-6; Colossians 2:11-14; Acts 2:38) We believe in the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking in another language as shown in Scripture (Mark 16:17; Acts2:4; Acts 10:46: Acts 19:6).

Christian Living
As Christians, we are to love God and love others. We should live a life that is holy both inwardly and outwardly, and worship God with joy. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today. (Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10)
The Future
Jesus Christ is coming again to take His church away. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgement. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous death. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15)
